Prices of the parking pass are twice as high at the UW Bothell campus as they are at Cascadia, yet it is the same pass and can be used for either parking garages! I would like to know why we pay more in tuition, and the parking pass still costs us more to get the exact same thing! When I was a student at Cascadia and UW Bothell at the same time, i just bought it over there and used it on the UW side, but now that i am only enrolled in the UW I can only buy my passes here for about $70. It used to cost me $36! I want my $34 back please! :o)

Yeah what is up with the price hike on parking permits this quarter?? I paid $63 for my permit this quarter but it still costs $1 to pay for daily parking. Rip off! I was told that daily parking was going to increase to $2 starting July 1. Hmmm that hasn't happened yet! So why has there been an increase only for those of us purchasing permits.

Here is an update. I contacted Finance & Administration on July 7th and was told once again that daily parking is supposed to increase to $2 starting July 1st. What is going on?? I know you guys don't want to pay an extra $1 but I feel like I'm being scammed by UWB!! If you are experiencing this also you may want to give Judy Gustafson a call. CREDIT FINALLY AVAILABLE!!!
Finance and Administration has finally taken responsibility in refunding the overpayment for summer quarter full time parking permits!
Here is an excerpt from the email I received:
-Full-time summer quarterly permit holders will be given an $18 credit off the price of an autumn quarter permit (if an autumn permit is purchased). The UWB Cashier has a list of those individual that are eligible for a credit, please mention this at the time you purchase your autumn parking permit, so that you may receive your credit of $18.
-Purchasers of a summer full-time quarterly permit who do not purchase an autumn permit will receive a refund check for $18. These refunds will not be available until after October 15, 2006. Individuals must contact the Finance and Administration Office AFTER October 15th at parking@uwb.edu to request the credit.
